The word "Meraki" is Greek in origin, and describes the act of leaving a piece of your soul in your work. Meraki is putting so much love into what you do that it truly comes from the heart.
My name is Melissa, and I am a self taught painter & fiber artist from Northern California. I believe that our homes are a sacred space that should be filled with items that make us feel good. This is why it is my goal to craft unique décor with loving intentions, so that each piece brings a little more happiness into your space.
Much of the inspiration for my work is derived from a love for the natural world. This is reflected in many of the designs I create, as well as a continuous effort to produce eco-friendly goods and operate in a more sustainable way.

Here’s how this small business is keeping it eco-friendly:
Eco-friendly cord
I exclusively use Ganxxet cord for all of my macrame work. This cotton cord is made by recycling scraps that are discarded from the garment industry. They select similar color pieces for each cord, so it’s never actually dyed. The process uses half the energy and water than that of making conventional cotton cord!
Always recycling.
I save as many scrap cords as I can to reuse in other projects. I also recycle shipping supplies to send out orders in whenever possible.
